Team & System

All German language teachers at the IFS are professionally-qualified native-speakers. All hold a university degree and have taught German as a foreign language (DaF) for many years. Regular continuing training keeps the team in touch with the latest educational and methodological developments. IFS teachers not only provide excellent instruction, but also take pleasure in their work. Good studentteacher relationships and a real personal interest in the  students’ learning success are part of the IFS Team philosophy.

All IFS German language courses prepare students for Goethe-Institute examinations (ZD, ZMP, ZOP, KDS, GDS) and  for the entrance exam required by Germany’s universities. Personal coaching sessions ensure that students are perfectly prepared for their exams. Students completing a course stage receive an attendance certificate, while the  IFS-Certificate is awarded for completion of the basic or intermediary stage. This generally qualifies students for admission to the DSH (university entrance exam), for attendance of the preparatory Studienkolleg as  well as for German language courses which Germany’s higher education institutions offer.
